A really terrific read. Savannah von Hopf seeks out Ken 'WildCard' Karmody, with the hopes of throwing herself on his good graces to help her get her uncle out of Indonesia. On paper, the plan sounds good, but in real life, well... she's an acquaintance of a former girlfriend who hurt Ken terribly, and far too quickly, their fledgling relationship is on the rocks. Sorry, but really wanting to save her uncle, Savannah opts to go to Indonesia on her own.
Despite Ken's hurt, he's too much of a man to leave Savannah to her own devices, so they both go to Indonesia together - and that's where the action begins! In this book we meet the mysterious Mr Jones and Molly (who we meet again in "Breaking Point"). There's also a story about World War II, with Savannah von Hopf's grandmother Rose, who's some sort of double agent.
A tight read, not a word is wasted at all.
