a fairly compelling historical romance. It's the third book in the 'Our' series after Our Lizzie and Our Polly, but it's an interesting read on it's own. It's fairly obvious from the beginning that the two main characters will get to together, that being the bases for any good romance, but the author throws in a few twists along the way.

`Our Eva' is a wonderful well-written tale. It's a must for anyone with a desire to experience the community spirit, `simple' pleasures and relentless hardship for people, especially women, who lived in Britain betweens the wars.
