Would have been perfect if it had a stand! Little hard to mount at first..but nice looking and feeling, so overall a good product.

I got this after the boys handed me back my ipad with a definate dent in the corner, but of course no one had dropped it!!
Otter box have a great reputation in industry, and we have actually tested one of their heavy duty cases by driving a fork truck over it and it and the product survived. So I was very pleased to see a lightweight version from them.
The case: it consists of 3 parts, a screen protector, an internal rubber case and an external hard case. The screen protector is a heavy duty one, which I hated, due to its propensity for flicking off the corner and getting bubbles. But I wasnt interested in this, and had some decent ones already (if you dont mind a bit of drag, the zagg ones are excellent and self healing ZAGG Invisible Shield Maximum Protection Screen Scratch Guard for Apple iPad Wifi 3G) I am being a bit harsh here as I did trim it to fit inside my gelaskin!! The main bits are a soft rubber case for the inside and bump protection. This is very easy to get on, and has holes for the main ports, and a lift up tab for your earphones. It does get some crumbs inside, but this isnt a major issue, as you can flick the edges up in situ and shake them out mostly. Finally there is a solid outer case with a removable sliding section for the power cable. This hard case was a struggle to get on, but I did finally manage it, despite having a gelaskin underneath, and weak slightly arthritic hands, so persist with it. There is a hole in the back to show the apple logo, and it only covers about 5mm round the front, so the patterns shows nicely on both sides. There is a curve around the button so it doesnt get in the way. The two together are a couple of mm deep on the front, but due to the distance away from the edges of the screen, I dont notice it at all. It also means the ioad can be dropped on its face on an uneven floor and survive. My only main issue is that the sliding thing is quite loose, and easy to misplace - but I suppose they thought anything else wouldnt be robust enough.
All in all a very good, robust case that still leaves the ipad portable in the smallest of bags.

I would highly recommend this case it protects iPad very well and makes it much easier to handle. 10/10.
