A collection of 16 vintage television performances by legendary soul singer Otis Redding, interspersed with more than 40 minutes of new interviews documenting his life and work. The film includes complete performances of 'I Can't Turn You Loose', 'I've Been Loving You Too Long' and '(I Can't Get No) Satisfaction'. The final two performances, 'Try a Little Tenderness' and 'Respect', were taped at a local Cleveland television show less than 24 hours before Otis' death.

otis redding, one of the greatest soul singers to date, one can only imagine, the greater heights he could have reached
if not for his early death, so so sad.
these arms of mine is truly one of the the greatest love songs ever written, it has certainly stood the test of time,
42 years since his death, it still makes me cry, the dvd is brilliant, raw footage of the great man himself, his songs,
his voice, live on through his family, even though some of the footage is a little upsetting to watch, worth every penny
this dvd, a little treasure to own, so glad that the family decided to get it released.

Bought for my hubby who is a huge Otis fan - he loved this DVD the only thing was he said he couldn't read the booklet very well due to the background pics!
