This is not showing as verified purchase, as I bought all the books individually.

I cannot compare this series to other books, there is nothing like it I have found. But I am reminded of TV shows like Alias, Nikita and Human Target.
What the Character Nine does is a combination of all the parts of these shows that I loved.
Except for one thing. The depth at which the lead character Nine is explored and developed.
It is rare to see a character develop from childhood. Usually we get flashbacks, hints. But the Orphan Series allows you to live with Nine, see his inner turmoil. This is what makes him a fascinating character.
Then you weave in hi-tech gear, espionage, international politics, covert agencies, gun play and some chaos and you have an epic thriller trilogy.
The character development adds to the story, without stalling the narrative. I enjoyed the trilogy and will probably re-read it in the future.

The Orphan Trilogy..... Masterful writing for action thrillers seeking three books with a difference, the difference all three are well written, well thought out have depth with their characters and ensures the reader simply can not put the chosen book down until you reach the end, drawing you into the next book, enticing you to want to know what happens next. If your a lover of fast paced action then yes this trilogy is definitely the one for you, intrigue, plots and a storyline that certainly turned a few cogs in my mind awakening the brain to think "What if", and that for me is good story telling, for writers to hold a reader with each page takes a lot of hard work, but this trilogy does it with ease. Highly recommended and well deserved five stars, certainly looking forward to more from these authors.

The Orphan Trilogy by Lance and James Morcan is an action packed, fast paced thriller, full of intrigue, mystery, espionage, suspense and an adrenalin fuelled adventure from its thought provoking start to its thrilling conclusion.

The trilogy follows the story of Nine, who, genetically engineered at birth, wants to escape the corrupt and dangerous Omega Agency whose sole objective is to gain global domination at all costs.

Full of twists and turns, we witness Nine's amazing superior skills and talents as we journey with him through the years, meet a wealth of amazing characters, some good, others evil, cross continents, and finally begin a race against time.

The Orphan Trilogy will keep you page turning and wanting more. A highly recommended read.

I have read all of James and Lance Morcan's books in The Orphan Trilogy, this is all three installments put together in its entirety. Below is my review given to each book after reading them individually.

THE ORPHAN FACTORY.
The first book I read from James Morcan and Lance Morcan 'The Ninth Orphan' was exceptional, so I'd thought I would give 'The Orphan Factory' a try and it complimented the first one perfectly. With heavy espionage, and gripping unstoppable action throughout, a clear sense of imaginative and thrilling conspiracy once again raised it's ugly head. The story flows without hesitation and not a dull moment to be seen from start to finish. If your genre is all about explosive suspense and articulate design for a superb plot, this saga is the one you should sink your teeth into.
Assassins and field ops galore, the trained skills and abilities of 'The Orphans' are transformed and prepared for tasks to do their job with precision and accuracy. They are perfect science projects without feeling and emotion and free from the burdens of human weaknesses such as alcohol and drugs etc -
This is book 2 of The Orphan Trilogy and I can't wait to read book 3 in this epic saga. With not a dull moment to mention, an extremely enjoyable read.

THE NINTH ORPHAN.
A thrilling journey about a man called Nine who has been trained from birth to be the perfect secret agent. A man genetically engineered and one of 23 children created in a lab for ultimate perfection. With action packed scenes and an adventurous outlook approach to characterization, this book is sure to please the most avid reader. A master of disguise with his various costumes and makeup, Nine attempts to make contact with Chinese Agents for treasure they hid in the Philippines during World War II.

The Orphan Trilogy is about a group of young people with special abilities. The Omega agency has kept them all captive for their own evil intent. One orphan named Nine is determined to escape this life. All three books are filled with action, chases around the globe spanning from Chicago, The Arctic, Asia, Europe, The Amazon, Africa and South Pacific Islands . No one is safe and learning who can and can't be trusted can be the end of a life. Filled with action, intrigue, surprises and secrets revealed, The Orphan Trilogy makes a perfect nail biting, page turner and all night read. Once I started I was hooked and could not put it down.

The first two books, The Ninth Orphan and The Orphan Factory, lay the groundwork: the shadowy Omega group is bent on world-wide domination and through genetic testing has evolved a group of people with super mental and physical capabilities. They have been raised with numbers for names, based on their birth order, and raised in a secret orphanage where they learned to be uber-intelligence agents to help Omega get rid of enemies and solidify members in positions of global power and influence. In the 3rd book, The orphan Uprising, Nine--the central character throughout--has escaped the group but is pulled back when his son is kidnapped. The trail leads Nine around the world in 80 breathless days of action, drama, and well described unique locations including Greenland and the Congo. It’s a page-turner right to the end and a hefty read to boot. The Morcans don’t skimp on the action, making this an excellent entertainment value.

I look for plot twists and turns, engaging characters, and balanced construction that makes a book review a pleasure. This series delivered.
