the best book on Orpen

This by far is the book to buy for those with an interest in Orpen; the only caveat is that while it gives a thorough overview of his work, many are in black and white. But it is the only book to go into depth about his life and inspiration. It is wonderfully written and researched. I suggest supplmenting it with the most recent book on Orpen (the yellow cover, sorry I forget the author's name) which is loaded with color paintings.
