Product Description

John Mitchell's life in the small Midwestern town of Mill City Wisconsin is about to change forever. The animals in his lab at the Neuro Science Research center suddenly die, he learns gut wrenching news about his wife of ten years and the most important meeting of his career gets canceled when his boss mysteriously disappears.
After accidentally injecting himself with a serum made from the instructions scribed on a seven-thousand-year-old artifact John discovers he has new abilities and new blood-chilling enemies. He and his wife Jenny are soon running for their lives from the terrifying figures that will stop at nothing to protect the serum’s seven-thousand-year-old secret and retrieve the artifact needed to finish their plans.
On the run and searching for answers they are thrown into a world of ancient secrets, esoteric mysteries and a clandestine underground race when they become trapped in a cavern deep under the ruins of ancient Babylon. But when John discovers the hideously evil secret motivation of the ancient race that is supposed to be saving them he must rely on his new-found abilities to save the woman he loves, Earth and the billions of tortured souls locked deep within it.

More About the Author

As a boy, I grew up in the wilderness of northern Ontario Canada and spent a lot of time learning how to hunt, fish and survive in the north. I moved to the lovely state of Wisconsin at 18 where I have now spent my entire adult life.
I now live in the western part of Wisconsin with my two sons and amazing wife. I still love the outdoors and try to spend as much time there as possible. Gardening, campfires, traveling and fishing are some of my favorite things and I also love to entertain; either by playing the guitar or through captivating stories on the page. Although based on my current career path, it would seem the latter has more entertainment value. :) Thanks for reading!

3.0 out of 5 stars interesting story but some glaring mistakes 9 Jun 2014
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
This is an imaginative story but the author knows nothing whatever about England. We have Police STATIONS, not precincts - and they have geographical names, not numbers. There is no such rank as a police "captain" and British police absolutely DO NOT wear guns. The story itself is entertaining and the characters are well-drawn, but it's hard to believe in the author's efforts at researching ancient history, if he can't even be bothered to find out that the UK has a totally different culture to America. Do your homework, Mr. Meyer!

A complete lack of research. The author has probably never been to London. Police precinct ? London blocks? I found this irritating. Did no enjoy it.

1.0 out of 5 stars Dan Brown imitation 17 Feb 2014
By Schmoof
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
I very rarely give up on a book, but am forcing myself to read this. The storyline has possibilities with a better writer, but this is so amateurish it is painful to read. If I had a pound for every time I've rolled my eyes at the conflicting descriptions, poorly drawn characters and childish writing style, I'd be very very rich! If you like Dan Brown, avoid this book, it's a very poor imitation.
