First, let me state my bias : Sandy was at her peak with Fairport's Leige and Lief. This CD pre dates Leige and Lief by several years and is typical early '60's pure folk music (and within that genre, this CD is a "5").
Sandy's voice is perfection : clear, crisp and chilling; instrumental backing is sparse, mostly only acoustic guitar. Best tracks? "You Never Wanted Me", "The Last Thing on my Mind", and "The False Bride", all classic folk of the era. Not really a bum track on the CD. Only gripe - 10 songs only, lasting 30 minutes!
Conclusion, if you like Sandy and/or early '60s folk (and don't mind a short LP), buy this one
