After my Dell power supply went down I bought one of these. It's been working well with no problems for several months. Very satisfied.

The price of this is well below Dell, so that's a good start.

It has a longer lead than the one that came with the laptop.

The '8' power plug has to be pushed very firmly into the power supply to work. If you catch it, or it is 1mm out of the socket, it will fail to work.

That said, if I were to need another replacement, I would definitely buy this again, as the "1mm" plug insertion issue is very minor (but worthy of losing a star).

Always buy genuine Dell though - not 'artificial' Dell p/s.
Buy a Dell p/s, but buy it from here.

This is at a good price and comes with a longer than usual lead, which is very useful when using the laptop on a swivel rocker!
