Fits well, looks good but most importantly keeps the rain of my back and the heat on my skin.
Ross Farrup | Fit: As expected
It became a staying feature of everyday life. . . from since I bought it to the day it started to fall apart.
Robert Bolton | Fit: As expected
Changing buttons would surely make it more discreet but I'm just happy with the original feeling.

The coat is of a high quality with a clever (but very simple) way of keeping the belt in place. Someone clearly had a eureka moment with that.

The buttons, although of a metallic plastic texture, are solid and show no sign of coming off any time soon but, as they are cleverly held in place, would be easily replaced.

Please note that the colour is more olive green than brown but personally I don't care about that.

I bought this as part of a Halloween costume (I'm going as a Russian soldier (and I am aware that it is a Czech coat but it's close enough)) but I use it for everyday life and it has yet to fail me.

If you plan to put a suit jacket on underneath the coat I would advise ordering a size larger than you are.

ALSO: The coat comes with what I originally guessed was a beret, but I have since been told that it is a waterproof cover for a military style peaked hat... Not sure what I'll do with that part but it's a nice touch.

5 Stars from me!

This Coat is Fantastic, I have searched far and wide for a lightweight trench coat and this fits the bill perfectly, it is really well made and is comfortable to wear, it is the perfect length for the style of coat and falls perfectly just below the knee, the arms fall a little short on me but that's because I have the arms of gorilla.
Something the photograph doesn't show is that the coat fastens all the way up to the neck thanks to a button hidden behind the right lapel, another feature is a retaining strap on the belt which is a godsend as I have previously owned a trench coat and the belt got lost one day when it slipped through the loops.
One strange thing i did find was an elasticated beret in the pocket made of the same material of the jacket which, although a novelty, is not much use in day to day life and makes me look like Frank Spencer out of "Some Mothers Do 'Ave 'Em". (Ooh Betty!)

I am 6'1 and quite broad so I was a bit iffy about the sizing so first I bought a "large" to test the sizing and it fits me perfectly without my suit jacket which makes it perfect for a on a weekend or on an evening, I have now ordered a second coat in the "x-large" to accommodate for my suit jacket which I am inclined to wear during the day.
The Price is amazing even with the postageand the product is well worth the price.
The coat arrived very quickly indeed for the postal service and was nicely rolled in its packaging which is a welcome change as a lot of suppliers simply shove a coat into a bag and post it. Which is very annoying as the coat then has to be hung to remove the creases, this one did not.

I would recommend this coat to any of my friends, family and colleagues for the quality and the fit, both of which are near perfect, and also to anyone else out there, who like me, has the pleasure of working outdoors during the "wonderful" British summertime.

Being a socially rubbish 16 year old I was looking out for a Trench coat that was a bit different to the black felt styled coats you see ten to a dozen in most shops. I was surprised to see what looked like a brilliant coat for such a cheap price.
I bought it and after a prompt delivery I was really impressed by the quality of the coat. It's very warm, looks brilliant, buttons are durable and the small belt makes it easy to tighten up.

It's warm and stylish but most importantly (for me) it's unique! A real steal at around £20 - stop reading this review, double check your size and get buying!

Bought the coat purely for as a windbreaker the gusty stormy chilly british weather. It works a treat, and insulates heat rather well. The fact that its military surplus means its dirt cheap which is plus for me. The coat look a bit pompous, but I'm a practical guy so I don't really care.

It's generally well made but the aluminium zinc buttons look like they're fastend with threads that would give way with a good pull, though I have been wearing it for a week and none of them have come off yet.

the coat came with a beret that looked like a shower cap and was too small for my head. I'm 5'8 and 136lb so I bought the small one, it fits well but it hangs a tad loose because i assume its meant for those burly military types.

The merchant was quick to ship, the coat arrived two days after payment went throught for the order, would recommend them in general.

This isn't a heavyweight coat - nearer to "stout raincoat" if that makes any sense. I'm a 44" chest and normally buy UK size XL, but you should go by the sizing information offered here. The 44" relates to a "Large" and that's what I bought. The coat isn't "generously" made and if you want to wear a jacket or Aran jumper under it, go for the next size up. Some people have commented on the bright buttons, but they seem to be the genuine article, so why worry? They can always be a talking point. I actually put my coat into a local shop to get the button thread strengthened. This - along with shortening each arm by about 3" cost £8. All in all I consider the coat a bargain: wear something woollen under it for winter weather or leave the layers off when the mercury rises a bit. The olive green colour isn't done any favour by the photo, incidentally.
