Original 2.35:1 ratio ???????

Apparently the U.S. release was 1.78:1 instead of the original 2.35:1. Will we get the same, or will we be luckier and get it the way it's supposed to be?
It might not matter to some, but it does to me, I love 2.35!

I believe you're referring to the Canadian release, the US Blu from New Line is 2.35:1 and this Warner one should be exactly the same. For some reason, Canadian releases are often low quality and with the incorrect aspect ratio.

Recently picked it up in an Amazon sale, and can confirm that the UK Warner Bros "Blade" Blu-ray is in 2.35:1 (as it should be) and doesn't skimp in any other areas either: the extras are all there, and the picture quality and lossless audio are both superb - much better than I dared hope for with a 15 year old "catalogue" title. It's a very worthy upgrade from DVD.
