I pre-ordered this product in November 2012 as it was listed to be available in Feb 2013, which, so I thought, gave me plenty of time as I wanted it for favours for my wedding in April. No such luck. The estimated delivery date kept being put back and put back, so I had to frantically search for an alternative, and my order was finally cancelled (by amazon) in June 2013, because the item was no longer available. Given that it was up for sale by other sellers, it must have been available at some point so I can only assume my order wasn't fulfilled because the publisher didn't want to sell it at the (admittedly very low) price it was listed for at the time I placed my order, but if you don't want to sell it at that price, don't advertise it at that price. Waste of time.

Very annoying. NOT SQUARE. But prints are pretty and paper quality nice. 11 Sep 2013
By Wartyfrog - Published on Amazon.com
I confirm the previous reviewers regarding the papers being not square. It is off by less than 1/16". I still used them in origami and just left one side "sticking out" or "tucked in". I got it for about $8 at local bookstore, so I think the price is OK for the paper quality and prints. But it is a big disappointment for origami and it is not fun any more to use them in folding.

Doesn't have as many sheets of paper as advertised 2 Aug 2013
By Cali RN - Published on Amazon.com
This book of origami paper says on the cover that it has approx. 900 sheets. Yet, if you do the math - there are 14 pages of each design and there are 32 designs of paper - this equals 448 sheets - half of what is advertised. Also, the sheets are not perfectly square - which is not what you want when you want to do origami properly.

Good, but a little dishonest 10 May 2014
By Amanda Wilson 'SoggyEnderman' - Published on Amazon.com
This mega pack of paper is certainly true to its name, it is a pack and it is mega! The texture of the paper is great, in between actual origami paper and scrapbook paper. It is soft texture and holds a fold well. The patterns are really fun, there are some that make me oooh and ahhh (the waves, sakura branches, and peacock feathers) and some that make me go eh (the spots and most the animal prints) but for the most part the patterns are solid and will work great in modular designs.

And speaking of modular, the paper is big! At 6 inches, it seems really huge in comparison to my usual 2-3 inch paper, so I will be quartering and cutting it down. At 14 sheets per pattern it means that most modular designs will require you to either mix up the patterns or cut the paper down, I have no complaints because hey, that means more paper...even if folding and cutting them all will take me forever.

My only complaint is that the sheets are not perfectly square. I can fix this really easily when cutting it into quarters, and the uneven amount is a tiny fraction of a millimeter, so not a real mess. There are also a few sheets that stuck together because the glue that affix them to the spine of the book leaked onto the paper meaning it tore. I am not going to hold this against the 'book' though because accidents do happen.

I just had to edit my review because I did a little math...the cover says more than 990 sheets of paper...but after counting how many patterns (32) and how many sheets, I realized that this book is seriously cheating you out of paper! Granted I don't care, it was $8 for 448 sheets, which is still an awesome price, but the false advertisement leaves a really bad taste in my mouth. I am not sure why they couldn't just say over 440 sheets of paper? I still would have bought the paper because it is a big stack of color paper...come on guys, have faith in your product's ability to sell without lying to your customers.
Great product, but get it cheaper elsewhere 19 Oct 2014

I LOVE THESE MEGA PACKS!!! So many beautiful designs and colors to choose from. I adore making origami and this keeps me stocked on paper for a long time. I have no problems with this product whatsoever.

That being said, I bought three of these packs at Barnes & Noble for FIVE DOLLARS EACH, even without a B&N membership. Don't waste damn near sixty bucks on one when you can get twelve packs for the same price at the store. AWESOME product but not for this price. Just saying.
Ignore the naysayers: this is SQUARE 11 Jan 2014

Square packs of paper for the cheap. Yep right here, totally SQUARE...Cheap paper that folds well but of course does not unfold and refold as well, but this is good cheap origami paper. Colors coordinate. Mix and match and SQUARE. What else is there for practising those new folds?
