I have always loved origami boxes, but this book opened my eyes. The boxes are made of two or more unit-folds. I am an experienced paper folder, and found the drawings very clear and easy to follow compared to some of my other origami books. Finishing a box is like putting together a puzzle. Since my relatives often give me paper for Christmas or birthdays, and these boxes use it up very fast, I finally have a use for all that paper!

This book is my favorite origami book. I learned more by reading this than I have any other.
She is a great author, and the boxes are beautiful. Check out her other great books, Joyful Origami Boxes, and Unit Origami: Multidimensional Transformations.

This is the next step up from "Quick and Easy Origami Boxes"; the basic folds are repeated and the illustrations are in black and white. The patterned lids are real attention-getters at my desk. It's been a great addition to my origami library.

I would recommend this book to anyone who likes to make the sqaure origami boxes. It has square, triangular, and hexagonal boxes in it. Read more

Offers therapeutic relaxation
I found actually creating the boxes in the book very relaxing. My one complaint is that there a few tiny details of how to construct the boxes that they leave the reader to figure... Read more
