By folding multiple sheets of paper, it is possible to create dramatic expressions of origami art, This book shows how to make a variety of charming and colourful boxes to display special keepsakes, or to hold small gifts. Most of the projects require only four sheets of paper for the lid and four for the bottom, and there are only seven folds for each sheet. A good introduction to origami for the casual hobbyist.,

I've often been interested in origami but never heard of an origami box until a friend introduced them to me. Besides being decorative they are rather a funtional craft for creating presents and holding small keepsakes. The books directions and illustrations are easier to follow than some crafts texts. I intend to use this as a manual for a adults' chafts class; material is inexpensive and the directions are easy for the beginner. The color photography does an excellent job of illustrating the variety of possibilities in colors and configurations.

this book has some of the nicest boxes i have seen. i just have to buy the paper and will delight my friends when there gifts are in such boxes.

We have found the instructions in this book to be unclear and they are hardly improved by the photographs. In our opinion the line drawings of Tomoko Fuse are easier use.
