Five years in the making, Filmmaker Debra Pascali-Bonaro reveals a revolutionary approach to birth that is statistically safer for both mother and child than the birthing and delivery methods that are standard in many parts of the world today. The viewer becomes an intimate part of the birth stories of 11 women during this 85 minute documentary.
The evocative score for the film was created by John McDowell, composer of the score for the Oscar-winning documentary Born Into Brothels, with additional composition by Sabina Sciubba of the group Brazilian Girls. PAL format with Spanish, French, German and Portuguese subtitles; each birth is 'available' separately in chapters.

This DVD is really useful as another view of how you might like to birth your baby. Not women climaxing everywhere, just lots of relaxed couples. Couples who know that women who get into a very primal state during labour and birth are more likely to have the fulfilling birth they would wish to have.

this dvd is a must see for all pregnant ladies! i would have liked to hear and see more about the orgasms in birth but the dvd's content and the speakers are great. thank you for this dvd!

This is an amazing and important film. It is not just about 'the big O'...although that happens also. It is about how are we supporting our birthing families and what are the conditions which provide for a woman to have an empowering experience in giving birth...and yes pain free and even pleasurable.
