Product Description

Product Description

The perfect book for all those people with limited time and limited space. The motto of this book comes from Dawna Walter, Britain's number one innovator of attractive storage solutions: "Organized living means having more free time". It also means creating stylish, uncluttered interiors and Walter's hands-on, dynamic approach will show you that it is how you orgainze your space that counts, whether you live in a large house or a studio. Whereas untidy clutter makes aggravating chores out of everyday routines, a well-organized interior makes life simpler, freeing up time for the more fun things in life.

Organized Living gives creative and affordable storage ideas for all tastes and budgets, and for all rooms in the home, from assessing the structural space available right through to orgainzing your hidden-away bits and pieces. Added to this is an invaluable bank of tips on how you can save time when carrying out everyday chores and routines, whether dealing with laundry or stocking your freezer - or even preparing for a dinner party.

As we head towards the twenty-first century, where time and space look set to become the issues of interior design, this is one storage book that you cannot do without.

Not just for designers... 11 Dec 1999
By Lupita Valdés - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Hardcover
The minute I picked up this book, I could not put it down. There are so many great ideas in it, that it makes it almost impossible not to try to be a little bit more organized. I work in Advertising and it's been a great help. It's come in handy when I'm designing because it has such a great sense of space, structure and balance. This book is a must for anyone who needs help getting organized.

Quite Possibly My Favorite Book 1 Nov 2000
By A Customer - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Hardcover
Dawna Walter should be considered one of England's national treasures! Her book has amazing tips for organizing the home. The book is cleverly divided into sections by room type. Each section has different examples, tips and lots of beautiful photos. Unlike other books on orhanizing the home Walter's does not consist soley of starkly modern interiors devoid of posessions. My favorite tip is to have storage under steps in a stairwell. It's hard to explain, but a picture;s worth a thousand words and the book has plenty! Definitely a book that you will come back to again and again.
