This is a good comprehensive readable exposition of the topic. However I can't help feeling that its most grateful readers are more likely to be passing exams than changing any organization. It concentrates on informing you on the state of the art - what there is to know about organizational change - rather than preparing you for action. Perspectives and theories are well presented and explained, but not always linked or compared, and the depth of critical evaluation is not as great as it could be.

By A Customer
This is a core text at many established educational institutions and will provide students and both managers alike with a sound basis of their knowledge into approaches to deal with modern strategic workplace issues e.g. Globalisation and managing change; also titled under areas of Management and subjects regarding change within the Organisational culture and the economic environment. This is the book that will help you to pass those exams in this subject or be used as a great point of reference for those work place dilemmas.

This textbook provides a generally good read and allows you to learn the basics as well as the more complicated concepts. This text assists the improve of the readers use and awareness of modern advances in management theory. A great text, well worth the investment; the latest edition also includes a wide variety of 'real life' to help bring that theory alive!
