I am a bit difficult with herbal teas...a lot of them just don't taste that great or are an acquired taste. Yet this one surprised me. You can taste the ginger but it has other spicy elements wrapped around it - that taste a little bit like cloves, licorice and cinnamon. Although rich and complex it's very mellow & soothing. I can definitely feel a warm, soothing sensation once I start drinking it. As someone with a chronic health problem, who doesn't have great digestion and reacts very easily to a lot of food & drink, this was a very pleasant discovery.

It says the ingredients are:
Ginger 0.522g
Rama Tulsi 0.406g
Krishna Tulsi 0.406g
Vana Tulsi 0.406g

The Rama, Krushna and Vana are different types of Holy Basil. I believe they have mild blood thinning qualities, so probably not advisable during pregnancy or for people on blood drugs like warfarin etc. But as far as taste goes, I can definitely recommend these.

A nice strong ginger taste, one of the nicest herbal teas I have tasted.I was recommended this tea for relaxtation, but I'm not sure it actually has an effect on me in that way, but enjoyable to drink none the less.

I love ginger and have tried many teas made by other companies. This one hits the spot! It is so nice. Added bonus is that it doesn't need any sweeteners - it's lovely just as it is!

This tea is ideal if you have a sore throat or feel bunged up - heat from both water and ginger soothes throat and clears tubes - lovely also on a cold winters day.
