The Beeswax I received is different in appearance to the Photo used in the advertisement, which appears to be a stock photo. It is not Yellow - It is ivory. Ivory coloured beeswax can be made either by bleaching - which removes the natural colour, destroys the aroma and obliterates the natural goodness of the wax, or by pressure filtering which lightens the colour but does not affect the aroma or vitality of the wax. The wax I received has a wonderful sweet and fragrant aroma and a lovely pale golden glow - evidence that it has been expertly filtered, making it ideally suited for cosmetic applications and for candles where an ivory colour is desired. It also makes it ideal for making coloured beeswax candles. This wax appears to be of the highest quality. I have tried many different kinds of beeswax from the UK and around the world and this wax is equal to the best of them. When I melted the wax it became a crystal clear liquid - evidence that it has been skillfully rendered and is free of impurities. I used it to make a pillar candle, and it burns very well.
