Product Description
The Oregon WMR 80 wireless weather station is well-equipped and easy-to-use, with multiple external sensors to measure the outside temperature, humidity, wind and rainfall, as well as sunshine, air pressure, precipitation and dew point. Data obtained by the Oregon WMR 80 can easily be transferred from the weather station to a computer for storage and analysis using a wireless radio connection. With this wireless weather station you'll never be caught out by the weather again.

I got this unit after returning a Hama 1500 which struggled to get a reading from the wind gauge.
The Oregon arrived with the outside thermometer missing but the supplier sent a replacement unit.
Good points
Everything was simple to set up and the unit picks up all the outside sensors which are spread around the garden without a problem.

Moon phase
There are however a few minus points with the unit
You can only have barometer or rain gauge displayed at any one time, there is plenty of space at the top of the screen that could have been used to allow both at once
The rain gauge only displays the total rainfall for the last 24 hours rather than for the actual day. This is a big minus if you want to keep daily records unless you take a reading at midnight every day.
Similar issues with minimum and maximum wind speed and temperature.
Unit is displayed at our reception and is a great source of interest to guests

This is a great product at a good price and I guarantee you will become obsessed with the weather. It forecasts what's coming, records the historical stuff and gives you up to the minute readings of temperature, wind, pressure and rainfall amongst others. The kit is easy to install and pretty rugged. Thoroughly recommended

I was given this weather station for Christmas, and I love it.
It's easy to set up - except the wind thing (can't remember the technical term!) which took some figuring out as it has to be either screwed to something or bolted to a pole - facing north!
It's great for checking the temperature, although I find myself checking it a but too much. It accurately records rainful, and I'm slowly working out how to read the pressure readings and other more technical data!
