Stella Homewood is a talented singer/songwriter in the British acoustic folk tradition with a little hint of Country.
Her voice has a deliciously warm, fragile texture that never ceases to surprise and delight.
Even on a first hearing this beautiful album instantly hooks the listener straight from the opening song - Hello.
This song has one of those wonderful choruses that sticks with you long after the music is finished and makes you want to hear it again as quickly as possible.
However, every song on this superb album is a treat, including the deceptively simple title track 'Ordinary Day' which has the potential to become one of those big iconic hits. Can't recommend 'Ordinary Day' enough. Hopefully it's the first of many great albums to come from Stella Homewood.

I have just listened to this CD after a friend recommended it, and I was captivated and enthralled by it. The songs are just beautiful and Stella's voice is haunting and breathtaking. I could listen to her all day. If this is her first album, I just can't wait for the next one.

After listening to Stellas cd 'Ordinary Day' i felt so relaxed and chilled out, i got goosebumps after listening to her lyrics and beautiful voice and music.
