This is a set of 20 two-piece jigsaws, each showing a different animal. The puzzles come in 10 different shapes and 10 different colours. The line-drawings are clear and appealing. Even young toddlers can gain a sense of accomplishment by matching the pieces and completing the puzzles with help. My daughter is 22 months old and has just learnt to put the pieces together herself and can do the puzzle almost unaided. She really enjoys naming the different animals.

The puzzle also has plenty to keep 3 or 4-year-olds entertained; they can learn to recognize the colours and shapes illustrated, count the animals, etc.

Have recently discovered the Orchard Toys game range looking for fun educational games and material for my 3and a half as we are home educating,
bought this one for the little sister, but still useful to learn about the shapes...my son recognizes pentagones now!
really well conceived as it allows the child to learn about the animal names first, colours and then shapes. Plus there are 2 jigs for each colours with different shapes which make it a little bit more tricky.
Beautiful!
