There are lots of things to look at and talk about in this lively, colourful picture, which aids literacy skills. Can you see the children crawling through the tunnel? What can you see flying up in the sky in the distance? How many forms of transport are there in the picture? What colour is the pram? Can you spot someone having a piggy-back? It can also help with numeracy skills: how many birds can you count? How many wheels are there in the picture? How many children are playing on the slide? This floor puzzle measures 59cms x 42cms, and is made of durable, re-cycled board. The 50 pieces are big and chunky, and the puzzle is particularly aimed at children between the ages of 3 and 6. Very pleased with this puzzle. Both the grandchildren (boys aged 5 and 3) took to it immediately and love it. Fun and colourful. Has been done over and over again. Has also proved excellent for expanding vocabulary for the 3 year old.
Only put 3 stars for durability, but made from strong board and you can't expect indestructability from a cardboard puzzle piece.

This puzzle is all you expect from an Orchard toy. Very educational and lovely bright colours to keep young ones imagination. My 3 year old grandson loves to do this puzzle. We play finding things when it is made.

Worth it!
Bought this piece for my 3yr old. He loves it. It did take 3-4days for him to learn to form the puzzle. Now he does the whole thing on his own without my help & he adores it. Read more
