Bought this phone from Ebargainz through Amazon, it arrived quickly but all of the seals on the box marked void if opened were broken and the phone was already assembled with charge in the battery and the sim inserted - a return then. It did seem to work however so it seemed pedantic to send it back and I did not.

I'd never owned a touch screen phone before and upon requiring a new mobile I'd been surprised to see they could be bought so cheaply. Friends of mine have iphones etc. Use the Orange Lisbon for a few minutes however and you will quickly realise it is not the same sort of thing, and the fact that it is operated by unresponsive and fiddly touch screen is a massive hindrance to using the phone. The most constant problem is simply unlocking the phone for use, you have to press the call button followed by a target in the centre of the screen. Often this just seemed to be impossible and it could take many many tries before the phone would finally detect the touch and unlock. In general use selecting the tiny icons and entering names and numbers on the touch screen keypad is very difficult, to avoid having to do this I hardly ever wrote texts and I dreaded entering contacts details, problems I never had with similarly priced keypad phones.

To top off my Orange Lisbon experience, after two months I drew it out of my pocket to find that the screen had stopped working. Since this was not in any way due to misuse I looked into sending it back, seller does not accept returns after 14 days. However it is under warranty for 24 months with Orange. To cut a long story short however, trying to enact this warranty involves entering a maze of smoke and mirrors which I never found my way through and in the end I just cut my losses.

If you are after a flashy touch screen phone then take my advice, you need to spend more money, this piece of junk is nearly unusable and will probably be broken after a few months. If like me you don't use your phone a lot and don't want to spend much, stick to a cheaper, easier to use and more reliable keypad phone.

And finally, against my advice my girlfriend also bought this phone - after three months it apparently broke in exactly the same way as my own.

WORST. PHONE. EVER. 25 Feb 2012
I got this phone back in 2010, and to start off with, it looked great! 30 quid for a touch screen phone - I can see why.

When I opened the box, this phone did not come with a number, I had to ring the operator myself and find it out. I also found the touch screen way to small, so I have ended up having to use a Nintendo DS stylus in order to do anything.

The touch screen is also very temperamental, more of a 'pressure' screen, really - you have to jab it really hard for it to actually recognized you.

The camera is also CRAP on this thing, I reckon my ass could take better!

Alarms - Some people may say this is a good thing, but I think its a bad thing, but even when the phone is OFF, or on SILENT, the alarms still go off.

Ringtones - Very hard and confusing to set ringtones, if you can at all - I have never found out.

Number? - People ask me "What's your number?" - I don't know because there's no way I can find out!!!

MP3 Player - If you can call it that. Just standard play. You can't change settings, or anything, it just plays it.

Battery - VERY short battery life.

It's no wonder why I ditched the phone after about three months and kept it as spare, buying a sony erricson instead, but unfortunately, that too, was crap, and broke. At least It was more use than this one.

This phone, the 'lesbian' as my friend calls it, is now broken and wont turn on at all. Isn't it lucky I have the Samsung Galaxy Ace on the way?

But, to be fair, there is one good thing about this phone. It has a customisable back - WOW.

    In short, WORST PHONE EVER!

    It's not very good. 8 Mar 2012

When this phone arrived, I was shocked at how small it was. This is made worse by the fact that the touchscreen is completely terrible, when texting you must literally press each key 4 times to get the one you want. The camera is not very good, but the one thing I was impressed with was the MP3 player. I have a pair of good quality headphones, but even without headphones the music plays pretty well. But really if your looking for an MP3 Player, buy an MP3 PLayer.
