The syringes pictured are the excellent (unfortunately difficult to find) Baxa design which measure in increments of 0.1ml, wash well and are long-lasting. The syringes we were sent measure in increments of 0.5ml which is not sufficient for the medication we dispense. Also, the syringes are the ones with the purple plungers and large rubber washers which don't work well after more than a couple of uses. They are totally useless to us and I am very disappointed that they are not as pictured. If you need to measure accurately to 0.1mls and/or need syringes that can be washed and re-used many times, DO NOT BUY THESE.

The syringe seemed fine but after a period of time I found that the ink was falling away - i.e. it is the marking in the outside of the syringe so the ink is being swallowed by the baby! I don't think this is fit to dispense medicine orally. May be I didn't read the fine print carefully but I thought an oral syringe should be capable of this. It is OK for use couple of times but not repeated use.

The purple syringes are a waste of money and do not work more than a couple of times. The rubber perishes, expands and will not fit back into the tube.

Not recommended and cheaper from Sainsbury's
The product information is misleading. The syringe shown on the first thumbnail image is not the syringe being sold, it is the purple syringes with the bung that are for sale. Read more

syringe good, stopper bad
the syringe is great and does what it supposed to. the stopper you put in bottle to get medicine out is poor and doesnt fit very well and you end up getting calpol everywhere
