I've never really been too fussed about an electric toothbrush, simply because I'm tight and don't want to spend much on a toothbrush.
And despite the fact my partner has had a Braun toothbrush for years, I've never bothered to join the home clan.
Anyway, I've given in and now the wonders of hindsight make me wish i bought one sooner!
I've never had bad teeth, (my dentist tells me I'm looking after them well), so again the "expense" of an electric one was off putting. But the fact is, this brush has given me far better results despite my dentist's praise! I always had an area of my front teeth that suffered from plaque, and no amount of brushing would remove it - that would be done by my dentist. But, literally after three uses of this brush, it's removed it! I'm impressed just by that alone. Aside from that, it massages the gum-line, and managed to clean right in between my teeth, which feels great after you've cleaned them.
The only real drawback is the cumbersome method of brushing. Obviously you don't have to scrub back-and-forth like a normal toothbrush, but you are holding an electronic device in your mouth and moving it around, which basically means you dribble into the sink while cleaning. But, I can live with that if it continues to clean my teeth well!
I can't tell you how long the heads last for, but I know a pack of replacement are about a fiver. I'd happily buy these every other month.
So, that's about it - I'm happy, it works very well, and i'd recommend it.
