Good technical introduction,
By
This review is from: Oracle 10g Data Warehousing (Paperback)
If you are implementing a data warehouse in Oracle this will give you a good technical overview. It touches on all the relevant areas you need to take into consideration when building your data warehouse on Oracle. It will also serve you well as a refresher or lookup for individual areas.
However, don't expect too much detail. You will need to consult other books, the Oracle documentation, and the blogosphere for advanced topics and more detail. As a technical introduction and reference to Oracle data warehousing this book has done me a good service. I found this a much better read than Oracle Data Warehousing and Business Intelligence Solutions.

Well I am Happy,
By Mary West "Mary" - Published on Amazon.com
This review is from: Oracle 10g Data Warehousing (Paperback)
Well I found this book extremely useful. Okay so you could wade thru the doc, but this book has everthing in one place with some easy to follow examples. It also encouraged me to take a look at using EM rather than typing everything in on the command line.

Very good overall coverage,
By A reader - Published on Amazon.com
This review is from: Oracle 10g Data Warehousing (Paperback)
This book is very useful if you want to get overall coverage of data warehousing related features in Oracle 10g. The book does not covers any topic in details but does covers all areas (SQL, Utilities, OWB, Discoverer, ODM) related to the DW/BI space.
