I reviewed the TV700 and said that I wouldn't reccommend for TV's over 32" I managed to forward on and I bought this one.

Very sturdy, solid and very easy to build, but needs dusting 3 times a day!!

One negative thing I can say is that I have had to remove the back metal plate that goes up the back, this is meant as a cable tidy system. Unfortunately if you have a slighty wider electrical product (or the cables happen to connect in the middle) then there are 2 options. A: Have the DVD or whatever hanging over the edge, or remove to enable item to sit back. Bear this in mind.

This is much better suited for flat TV's 37" & over, and at the end of the day the TV700 is sold through another supplier so with postage is around �82, this is direct with Amazon so P&P free at �84, worth the �2 more!

Bought this via Amazon supplier at �82 delivered super fast compared to �130 in local TV store. Solid and sturdy construction but be mindful that the depth of this unit at 400mm does not allow for the intrusion of the cable tidy system which uses up 85mm and caused me problems with DVD sitting neatly on the shelf. To eliminate overhang had to allow chrome semi tube to only be fastened by bottom fitting which, in any event, is a flimsy affair.

Be warned, if you buy ensure your additional "boxes" will fit before you commit.

This TV stand was bought by myself for a new flat screen tv i had recently purchased.
It arrived very promptly and was incredibly easy to put together,once assembled it looked great with the flat screen on it.
Laying out all your other devices,such as DVD recorder,Satellite Box and (yes i still have one) a video,is easy and it looks smart,but more importantly the stand is very very sturdy.
The down side would be the cable management system at the back does`nt seem to work very good,cables pop out of machines because they are all chaneled through the back and have to bend quite considerebly.
The other down side would be the colour,the black table looks fantastic,but the dust shows as soon as it settles,plus you have to use those static free dusting cloths.
