5.0 out of 5 stars Good, no non-sense protein 16 May 2013
By Max H.
Flavour Name:Milk Chocolate|Size Name:2273 g
When it comes to a no non-sense protein powder, one that has extras such as glutamine and BCAA's, and at the same time has a minimal amount of fat and carbs...this is the protein to get. This isn't a meal replacement or should be used as one, if that's what your looking for try muscle milk which is high in protein but also other calories as well.

This is your post-workout protein shake plain and simple. I always add one banana either in the blender or just eat it separately, and when I'm in bulking phase I'll also add one tablespoon of peanut butter and bam, you have yourself a meal replacement too if that's what you prefer. Not to mention, its freaking delicious with the peanut butter!

One simple thing I have been adding to each shake is Citrulline Malate and Beta Alanine, Primaforce Citrulline Malate 200 Grams + FREE Beta Alanine 250 Grams Powder. My recovery time has literally been cut in half since adding this to the mix, also worth looking into if you are involved in intense training of any kind.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great results 12 Jun 2013
By Kyle K
Flavour Name:Vanilla Ice Cream|Size Name:5Lbs
I've been using whey protein for a long time, off and on, and have always gotten positive results with it. Its a non essential protein that enhances your body greatly. It can be found in a body naturally, but it becomes depleted in individuals whom are heavy in weight training or endurance training.

Its not a supplement that will increase your muscle size or strength drastically, but it does give you that extra edge when it comes to recovery and muscle fatigue. For me, its a core part in my supplementation routine. No need to really cycle it either and given the amount you get for the price, its very realistic for the avg. to take this stuff year round.

For lifters, I suggest looking into complimentary supplements as well. My preference is cycling with whey and MMP; Muscle Maxx Pro + FREE L-Arginine (Nitric Oxide Booster) 250 Grams. It contains another one of those nonessential amino acids and it plays a pretty big role in nitrogen balance and metabolic processes - which translates into a massive amount of blood being shot into your muscles once contracted.

I train a lot longer and hardly ever got that lactic acid burn on arm days, at least it takes a heck of lot more to phase me. Even my cardio is easier on it too. I'd recommend it along with glutamine any day of the week specifically because it is actually partly synthesized from glutamine which means taking them together increases effects across the board.

5.0 out of 5 stars Luv that stuff 5 April 2014
Flavour Name:Strawberry Banana| Size Name:2.2kg|Verified Purchase
This is really quality product. I've seen results after first month using it. Worth those moneys I've spent. When you mixing it into a shaker, it became a smooth milkshake, good taste as well.

Flavour Name:Double Rich Chocolate| Size Name:5Lbs|Verified Purchase
This is my 3rd 2kg tub of Double Rich Chocolate (used it while doing The Insanity workout and still am with my new routine) and have learnt a few things over the past year:

1) It tastes awesome with milk and for me better than restaurant milkshakes (with water it's not that bad) - personally I use 150ml of semi-skimmed milk for during the day and mix with water post workout.

2) A shaker is a must!!! - I've left mine at work on multiple occasions and even though it says on the tub it's "instantized" and can be spoon stirred it doesn't taste the same without one when mixing it with milk, it won't be that lumpy but it definitely won't be as smooth. I ended up using a whisk because I was desperate!

3) If you've tried this flavor before and found it wasn't sweet enough for your taste try the "Milk Chocolate" / "Extreme Milk Chocolate" (same thing on Amazon) which is a bit sweeter, these are the only two flavors that I've tried and found the Extreme Milk Chocolate a bit too sweet for my liking and also had black/dark bits at the bottom of my shake that don't taste nice (not sure if it's meant to be like that or if I got a dodgy tub)

4) If you don't care about taste know that this product offers a great quality protein (Whey Isolates - one of the quickest absorbing proteins) for post-workouts for the price you pay, the only thing better is Hydrolysate/hydrolyzed protein shakes but these are more expensive.

Flavour Name:Cookies and Cream|Size Name:912g
This is a very high-quality protein that is a must-have for your diet.
Unlike most popular brands, this product has a very nice taste and it dissolves very fast in water or milk. Forget those nasty powdery chunks that stick to your teeth.

Bottomline: If you want to have a very good quality food supplement (that also tastes great) spending a little more is totally worth it. I know my next protein will be by Optimum Nutrition!

As for the seller: the package came earlier than I expected, they didn't have the flavor that I wanted but they handled the situation very professional and in a timely manner.
