USB LED Optical Wired Scroll Wheel Mini Mouse Mice For PC Laptop - Black

This mouse is light, well-shaped and easy to use. I have used many mouses that freeze for a moment once in a while, but this one is fantastic. There is no installation you just need to plug it in the USB slot. Although it is quite a cheap mouse, it includes a scrolling wheel in the middle which is extremely convenient for internet browsing. It is very portable as well and excellent for laptops! I highly recommend it!

This mouse is ideal for anybody who needs or wants a mouse.

I am an emoticonist and pixel artist who owns a netbook. Now, a touchpad isn't exactly ideal for pixel art, therefore I sought after a good mouse which I could use to better my skills. Luckily I found this, and it was certainly a good buy.

Externally, the mouse looks sleek and colourful with a bright blue LED inside which appears to be underneath the central scroll wheel - this being a weel which works magnificently and has a gripped surface. The top part of the mouse has a matte finish which not only makes it feel good in the hand, but also means that fingerprints will stay well away. This is carried on to the bottom side of the mouse which simply has a single hole cut for the laser. A red LED sits above the laser which lights up whenever the mouse is moved, and dims after a short while of inactivity - when it is brighter, this LED coupled with the blue light near the front gives the mouse a purplish colour which I think looks very nice.

Around the edge of the mouse is a large transparent-plastic area which is presumably designed so you can see the LEDs better; however while this was a good move it does expose the inner workings of the device which don't look particularly impressive.

But that's enough to do with visuals - moving onto usage. As I said earlier, it feels very good in the hand and is a good size - sort of in between the tiny mice and the large '90s monstrosities, which makes this unit very portable. It's also quite light which adds to the portability.
The movement is precise from what I can tell, and works out of the box on all operating systems. One thing I have noticed when using on Ubuntu, is that sometimes the mouse double-clicks randomly and sometimes it doesn't click at all, however this may just be me dropping it.

Dropping it? Of course. This is something that I shall mention - I have dropped this mouse from a reasonable height onto hard surfaces at least three times. You would expect the cable to be damaged and the mouse itself to be completely unusable after this kind of misuse - however it still works as well as it did when I first got it. Of course there are a few chips on the casing but that doesn't bother me. It just shows that this beastie is durable.

So, is this worth your three quid? Why, of course. Weren't you listening?

This is a brilliant buy! Just plug in and you're away, nothing to download, works well, love the neon lights and its a really nice size, not too big. Brilliant price also. Great buy!
