The OPRO Shield mouthguards are the worlds most advanced boil and bite self-fit mouthguards. The Platinum Opro Mouthguard is able to offer a level of protection and comfort not previously available in a self-fit mouthguard. New technology includes, multiple protection zones made from a unique blend of four different materials and a patented fitting handle to guarantee inter-jaw thickness. The Platinum level OPRO mouthguard is the flagship in the Opro Shield range which provides the upper most protection, comfort and retention. The new Opro Platinum mouthguard is constructed from four materials and contains a tough outer shell with an extra soft lining with the patented Oprofin system that has 21 high flow self-forming fins for great protection and also comfort. It has high protection level design, and comes with a protective case and a mini CD with full fitting instructions. It can be used for any contact sport and is suitable for ages 7 and above. Dental Guarantee - see Opro website for more details. Once opened Mouthguards cannot be returned. If damaged, the mouthguard should not be worn and replaced immediately.

I love Opro 1 April 2011

Opro are my favourite brand of mouth guard. I personally think they are so much better than shock doctor. However, for the additional money this doesn't seem much better than the gold premium. I suppose you could justify the extra few quid for the few hundred extra you get in insurance. When I buy a new guard I will probably revert back to the gold premium...unless of course I have enough money to have a custom fit one by then!
