Quite a short book, but it's not a huge topic. Oriented towards the forensic science arena in the USA, it doesn't offer any tips for internationalising its summaries, so the UK reader (such as myself) is left with little idea of the differences in the way the field is structured. That said, it does summarise the opportunities available for general criminalists, pathologists, toxicologists, crime scene managers and so on, and give rough salary, training estimates, brief job descriptions, along with example job advertisements for each section.
Not as useful as it could be for the international reader, but it does its job.

The information in this book relates to the US justice system. All the address', terms, etc are all American. A nice little book for simple guidance if you're considering a career in Forensics in the US, but otherwise I wouldn't bother.

Great job information about careers and opinions. Comes from many angles to get a good overall perspective. However, typical pay information and details of specific employers/organisations are all American; which with changing economic circumstances nowadays, isnt helpful to the UK resident.
