"Operation Good Guys Uncovered" follows the 'crack' undercover team as they take on an ambitious mission to capture one of the world's most wanted criminals. Or at least that is their intention.

Anyone who has seen an episode of the television series will know that when the 'Good Guys' are involved, little ever goes to plan, but then this is what makes the docusoap parody work. The book is narrated from the perspective of a journalist, which helps retain the fly-on-the-wall aspect which made the series so funny.

The book certainly keeps this feel, and while some scenes would perhaps not work on television, they do in print.

The book is a must for any fan of the series, although a newcomer to the 'Good Guys' would perhaps benefit from seeing a few episodes on video first, partly to understand who all the characters are, but also because the series is so good.

It is a crying shame that Dominic Anciano and Ray Burdis have decided to end this superb series after three series'. It is even worse that we cannot even buy it all yet to live off the memories of such superb comedy.

The book is a really funny read but to any people who have yet to see any of the tv series' it would be advisable to aquaint yourself with the characters first.

Another really great buy is the soundtrack CD with added recorded talking sections between Beach, Ash and Strings.....utter class and genius.
