I got this as a Trica Helfer fan and she is good in it. But the film is let down by the script which lacks meat. There is too much circling around and not enough getting stuck in. It ends too quickly and never gets its teeth into the central characters. I suspect if this had been done by a European director it would have been better.

Saw this on the weekend and it was simply ok. Nothing new that hadn't been done before (see a film called funny games with tim roth far superior to this). The shocks weren't shocking enough. The worst thing was the cover - to put Stephen Moyer and Anna Paquin on it as if they starred in it was very misleading by the film maker, they were only it between them for 10 minutes of the just under and hour and a half - that was the only reason I bought it!! I think Anna's brother directed this as his surname was the same as hers(that's probably why they were in the film).

There are other films of this genre (as in funny games) that are far superior to this one.

Okay so I thought because this film had Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer starring in it the film would have been much better than it overall actually was. Unfortunately (without ruining the whole film for you) it was less substance and the plot had major holes in it with a BRIEF appearences by the aforementioned Paquin and Moyer.
The relationship between the two main characters is never really explained properly and there is a lot less 'proper' movie content. Don't even get me started on the ending disappointing to say the least.
