This is a very comfortable strap. However, I have been using a technique of holding the camera with the strap taut for extra stability, giving me a few extra stops of low-light hand-holdability without a tripod, and the flexibility of the neoprene makes this more difficult than it would be with a non-flexible strap, and so I do have to change to another one. The softness and flexibility of the neoprene does mean that this would be a great strap even for heavier cameras than my Sony RX100, though, on which it currently is attached. I can definitely recommend this strap to everyone who doesn't use their strap as a "monopod" like I do.

I have recently bought a compact camera and wanted a proper neck strap, rather than the wrist strap that came with the camera. The majority of straps I saw were either lanyards (not very comfortable) or for full size SLR's (rather overkill).

I ended up searching for binocular straps and came across the OP/TECH products - both the neck strap and wrist strap. As both items have quick release buckles I only need to attach one product to the camera and can alternate between the two. As there is only one mounting point on the camera but this strap has two for each side of the camera I simply attached one round the strap so I only need one of the buckles to attach to the camera.

The part that goes round your neck is neoprene, so it is soft and springy. The strap length is easily adjustable for a wide variety of lengths.

I would recommend this strap for compact cameras and perhaps compact system cameras.

The Fuji X100 has a problem with lug wear when using the supplied strap. This strap is ideal and a good length for round the neck but a bit short for across the chest.

I bought this to replace the standard strap supplied with my Sony HX50 case (Sony LCJHN Part Case Camera Whilst I do agree with other comments that it's a little short (could do with maybe 1-2 extra inches either end maybe), fully extended it still functions exactly as hoped & without operational restriction. Very comfortable to wear too. Could be longer as I've said however I knew the maximum length before I bought it, so still 5 stars.

This strap is neither too long or too short, but allows a small compact camera (with two strap lugs) to hang from the users neck or cross wise from one shoulder to the opposite side of the body. The latter use may not be possible in broad people however. This I find more comfortable than the manufacturers concept of a wrist strap. A further advantage is the ability to push the camera to the full extent of the slightly elasticated strap and thus steady the camera in a triangle between ones neck and two hands. This is good for low light and video shooting.

This strap takes the weight evenly and holds my Lumix compact camera at best position for quick access which is ideal for digital cameras. I have the medical condition rheumatoid arthritis which means that objects can sometimes slip from the grasp or grip. This strap is absolutely ideal and keeps the expensive compact close to the body and hidden from view if necessary. On a previous lighter weight compact I used a single attachment OP/TECH which was also excellent but for above reasons this one is ideal.

I bought this strap for my Olympus EPL5, and in that respect it is ideal. It's lightweight and very comfortable. But the length is quite baffling - it's too short even for me (I'm a small skinny female) particularly as I like to carry my cameras cross body to ease any impact on my neck. Even when set to its longest length, I can't always hold the camera far enough from my eyes to compose the shot easily (I'm longsighted) without having to put my glasses on, which is a bit inconvenient. But otherwise, excellent service and very prompt delivery.

I use it on Nex7 mirrorless camera system and Fuji X100 and love it. It is rather small, light, flexible and inconspicuous. It can be interchanged with OpTech wrist strap. It replaced stiff leather straps on both my camers.
