Bialetti supports a greener environment by developing a range of superior products which are manufactured using natural and recycled materials. The body of the Green Planet cookware is made from 50% re-cycled aluminium, which in itself it 100% recyclable. The riveted bamboo handle is a natural material selected and harvested from nominated and managed bamboo farms. Even the wrap round sleeve label is printed on 100% re-cycled paper! Not only are Bialetti Green Planet products environmentaly friendly (this product is manufactured in accordance to SA8000: the international standard which officially recognises social and environmental values) they are also top quality. The Teflon® Classic ACT non stick coating makes cooking a treat and cleaning becomes easy. The silicon exterior is heat resistant silicon and is suitable for all hob types except Induction.
