A Magical Fantasy Adventure In a quiet town, dark creatures have started to creep out at night and slay the innocent townsfolk. Only they haven't come across the International guard's highly intelliegent mage Onyx Brimstone. Well when we say highly intelligent, we mean passed an exam. Brave let's say he's brave. . . aslong as there's nothing to terrifying. Oh dear they assigned this mission to the wrong person. He does have help, a feisty young woman that is very skilled with a blade. Our two Heroes have to venture into the towns old ruin of a temple and find where,how and why these shadowy creatures are attacking the town.

Onyx Brimstone is one the best graphic novels that I have read, the layout is easy to read unlike some other graphic novels that I own. The story itself is full of action, comedy and suspense, you can't help but get drawn into the story and just keep on reading. The artwork is excellent, it fits the characters perfectly and the little details fire your imagination as you read such as the sound effects and the characters facial expressions make you empathise with the heroes of the story, I find the characters engaging and fun, this is a true page turner.

If you like comic adventures with a twist this will delight you all.
A picture paints a thousand words & within Onyx Brimstone & the complete demongate there are many pictures, each one, tells quite a story, leading you onwards till the very end & within no time what so ever, the end is nigh but, without giving too much away, I became lost within the fantasy world of asyrus & the complete story all together.
The author created his book with enthusiasm, you will see what I mean, each picture contains a bubble speech but you don't really need them & the story idea alone is very clever entailing a moody & emotional read & as for recommending to others, yes, go get it you won't be disappointed. I rated 5 stars for this.
Can't wait to read more of his (Jason Rees) work.

I ordered this today and it came within 5 minutes by brick through my window i was most impressed . not only was the delivery fast upon opening it to my surprise a goblin jumped out dressed in ivory armour and duelled me to the death. the battle was long and intense in which i was victorious only because my son came to my aid in his mech armour suit. nice one for this
