By J. Sane
Format:Audio CD
I bought this on vinyl when it first came out & bought it again on a CD compilation last summer. Although it is a product of its times (i.e. 80's anarcho-punk of the Crass / Conflict genre), it still packs a punch. The drums, vocals, guitars and bass are pretty tight, well played, meaty and pretty angry indeed. Oh, yes. The lyrics are surprisingly relevant, targetting such areas as the monarchy, religion, the military machine and so on. Sad that these sentiments should still be so topical twenty odd years on. If you like this type of genre, it's a good one to buy. Don't know if it includes the original artwork which was by far the best at the time (if not now too).

I still play my old LP version of this, and trust me when I say that it still holds its own. Easily knocks on its backside anything that the best and the brightest of todays punk bands have to offer. Classic.
