I first heard of Irlan Silva when I watched the Prix De Lausanne on youtube. When I found out that this documentary told his story, I bought it immediately. His and Isabella's stories are heart warming and shows me how much parents sacrifice for their children. Irlan and Isabella's determination is commendable and I am very proud that Irlan is still performing with ABT II at present and I hope to hear more excellent news from both the dancers!

I saw this movie on the big screen and was totally enthralled by the the passion animating these Brazilian teenagers, who live only for their dream of integrating a dance company.
It also made we want to go to Brazil to see in real life the beautiful landscapes and the charming people of Rio I discovered throughout the film.
An absolute must.

This is more a documentary. It is worth watching especially the demonstration dance by Irlan which is jaw droppingly spectacular. Who knew the human body is capable of such feats
