This was a really captivating read. The characters came to life with every chapter and I actually cared about what happened to them. The writing stimulated the senses; you could almost feel the caribbean heat as you walked the dirt roads and through the sugar cane fields on the enchanting Leeward islands.
The book finished all too soon, but made great reading the second time around!
