Only Men Aloud! stepped into the national spotlight when they were selected from more than a thousand choirs around the UK to audition for the BBC show Last Choir Standing. They cruised through the elimination rounds, capturing the hearts of the nation with their stunning performances. In the final, Only Men Aloud! produced a goose bump rendering rendition of "All By My Self" and were voted Last Choir Standing and took the title of Britain’s Favourite Choir. Their debut album reflects the choir’s own eclectic musical tastes combining modern pop and musical theatre tracks such as "All By My Self", "Angels", "Bridge Over Troubled Water" and "Don’t Rain On My Parade" with more traditional songs such as "Cwm Rhondda". All these tracks are given the Only Men Aloud! treatment with the beautiful harmonies and epic crescendos that made the public fall in love with them.

FANTASTIC FANTASTIC FANTASTIC
I loved the "Last choir standing" on TV and I voted for Only Men Aloud.

Format:Audio CD
As a music graduate, it is so refreshing to hear such fine singing. Proper technique and clear diction, plus fantastic emotional communication across a range of styles. The arrangements (all the vocal arrangements are written entirely or in part by the choir's musical director)are great. Buy this album and listen to some great, real singing!

I've listened to it non-stop since it arrived.
Great singing, brilliant tunes, fantastic arrangements.
If you want high quality musicianship and to feel all warm and fuzzy inside, buy it now!
OMA! are in a different league to any of the other crossover acts that are out there right now.
Hope they don't get tarred with the reality tv brush. They deserve real success and this album shows what they can do.
Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas is one of the best versions I've ever heard.
Hope they release it as a Xmas single!

Disappointing
I was looking forward to hearing this CD but felt rather FLAT after listening to it. It is however an OK CD but not exciting or one that I will play alot.

not as good as i was expecting, sadly
i was expecting a more powerful list of songs, so was a little disappointed to say the least, and so dont want a christmas song to listen to all year round.

Good selection of songs from different genre. Looking forward to the next CD with maybe some more modern Welsh songs too!
