This is my second version of this review after a kind approach from Amazon's Customer Support department to correct at least two of the three mistakes I originally complained about. Since the book contents shouldn't be punished because of an isolated case (it is the first time this happens to me in all my years as a customer) I will go quickly to tell my experience as a WARNING for potential customers looking for recent or updated contents regarding Online Education..., and then a small comment on the book contents.

About the book contents:
In my country, e-learning is already part of a government policy. However, one of the biggest issues is that many "professionals" manage a light criteria when talking and developing e-learning resources like LO.
Online Education... is a book that, although starting to get dated in contents, presents a clear and comprehensive view (although some papers are more specialized), of such a delicate concept from different points of view. Highly recommended for anyone new or already in the area trying to understand what are Learning Objects about, as well as their strenght and weak points.
The only downside is the price. In a country where the average minimum wage is US$3.00 a day (april 2009), even understanding some English, this great (and useful) book, is just unaffordable.
