Was slightly concerned whether this really would work with my new iPod touch 2nd gen, but to reassure you other doubters out there... it does. Connection is a tiny bit bigger than Apple's cable so it fits a little easier if I take my Touch out of it's case (as the cutout is a little snug). But that is not exactly a hardship; hence it loses no stars from me.

Having no charger for the ipod touch is a real pain, especially if you are on holiday and have no access to a usb socket.
Delivery was prompt, arriving within 48 hours.On opening the jiffy bag I was pleased to find it also contained a 12v car plug as well.The enclosed lead fitted my ipod touch 2g like a glove and charged perfectly in my car. I then tried the 240v mains plug which once again performed perfectly.The ipod lead provided is on a sprung roller which makes it small and compact(ideal for travel) and allows you to leave your apple usb ipod lead at home. overall I would recommend this to anyone. Its excellent value for money.

There's a lot of chargers out there that say they fit the 2G Ipod Touch but some of them don't. Happy to say that this one does, and it is very good value.
