If you like The Onion's approach to contemporary news stories, just imagine what they'll do with the scope of this book.
Irreverent but never irrelevant, I can only read it in short bursts without disturbing the neighbours.
It's also a huge and beautifully presented book.

You know you've got it right when you give someone a book and within seconds they are giggling, reading bits out load and no longer interested in any other gifts. Buying this for my (adult) son certainly caused a lot of mirth and had everyone cuing up to read bits for themselves. Very tempted to buy a copy for the team that always wins the quiz league :)
