I bought one of these as my bedroom doesn't have an external TV aerial point and I really don't want extra cables draped around the outside of my house. When I tried to tune the TV in using this it didn't pick up any channels what so ever. I live in an area which is classed as good signal for digital reception; I've now taken it back and got my money back.

I picked one of these up yesterday from my local comet store and had all of the freeview channels available in my area within the hour, however i would check the signal strength in your area before purchasing one, you need to be in a medium to high area and run it via a free view box as this again boost your signal, the best feature of this aerial is that it's tiny compared to those things that look space ships with bloody great aerials that nearly take your eyes out.If your not sure of the signal strength in your area visit the freeview website type in your post code and house number and it will tell you which channels are available to you from which transmitter.

Hope this helps somebody out there.

I bought this in the hope it would make a little improvement on the 70 percent signal strength I get with the short wire antenna that came with the DAB tuner. It made things worse (50 percent or below), was much more position-dependent than the wire, and was extremely prone to interference from all sorts of sources. This is not the first one-for-all item I have purchased that I have been disappointed with, but it'll certainly be the last!

I bought this from PC World, the aerial is absolute rubbish I swear. I bought this for my girlfriend's new freeview box I bought her, it gave almost no picture quality ever! It looks horrible and works poorly, do not buy this product unless you're in a guaranteed great reception area.

I wish I had read the other reviews of this item before making the mistake of ordering one myself. Bought it to replace my old, bulky, set top aerial, as my new flatscreen doesn't have a "top". I have to change the position of the aerial in the room to view some channels, mainly BBC 1 - 3 & NEWS24 and sit with it on my knee with my hand on it to get good reception on these channels! Supposedly, I am in a good reception area.

I bought a new freeview box and don't have an outside aerial so thought I'd better buy an indoor aerial. Bought this one and had no success receiving any channels on my box. Tried a friends aerial and got perfect reception with every channel! This was the worst £20 I have ever spent. The only place it is fit for is the bin.
