One Tree Hill has graced our screens for nine years and now it has come to an end, this season unlike the past is a darker and more tense season, this is due to the fact that Nathan has suddenly disappeared and no one knows his where about's or even if he is still alive. With his wife Haley frantic to find him and with no help from the police Haley turns to and old face, Dan who reappeared in Tree Hill when his diner burned to the ground has started his own investigation, Dan sets out to find his son and won't stop at anything until Nathan is back home again. Dan being a character that I have not liked for the past eight seasons he really stepped it up this season in his desperate search for his son, I found myself warming to Dan and willing him on through his search, hoping that somehow he will find the forgiveness he needs.Clay has got his fair share of problems as well, as he has started mysteriously wandering off in his sleep, and Quinn getting more worried every time and worried for his well-being he decides to seek help which leads to a secret of Clay's being revealed which shocks everyone including Clay himself. Brooke and Julian are adjusting to their new lives as parents to their twins and juggling two different businesses, which leads to some serious consequences for one of their twins, and an old face from Brooke's past comes back to wreck havoc putting hers and her families lives a risk. We also see and old face return in the form of Chris Keller, again Chris was a character from past seasons that wasn't always my favourite character, but he stepped it up this season being the light-hearted and funny character that we know, but also taking on a more serious role in helping Dan to find Nathan. Chris really change my view of him and I found him a get addition to the season.Read more ›

I've been watching this season when it airs in America and all I can say is that it is an amazing season to end an excellent show! There are lots of new story lines and once one episode had finished I couldn't wait for next weeks episode. I'd recommend this to any OTH fan, you will not be disappointed!!!

I have been a massive fan of one tree hill for years now and was really upset when they said this was going to be the final season, however this season definitely did not disappoint! A truly incredible way to send off the show. One tree hill is definitely one of my favourite shows and I've lent my DVD's to friends and they're falling in love with it just the way I did all those years ago. The only thing I would say about this purchase is that disk 4 was actually the vampire diaries season 1 disk 1 which to me is useless as I already have all TVD seasons on DVD, however it good for people who haven't seen it and to get them to start watching a new show since OTH has finished. I would have preferred a bonus disk.

While One Tree Hill was never quite the same after Peyton and Lucas departed in season 6 this final season has stayed on track by focusing on core characters such as Brooke, Nathan, Hayley and Mouth. The first episode opens with an intriguing montage of dramatic events such as fires, arrests and public meltdowns and sets the tone for the rest of the season. Amidst the familiar faces there are some new arrivals (Chris Keller, Lucas Scott) and old enemies resurface with ulterior motives (Xavier, Dan Scott). Elsewhere Clay and Quinn face some giant hurdles in their relationship while Julian and Brooke juggle twins and careers. While some of the stories seem very far-fetched Hayleys emotional journey is particularly heartbreaking to watch and it's interesting to see some closure for the Scott family. I was disappointed to find this season is much shorter with only 13 episodes but there are several special features in the boxset including episode commentaries, a gag reel and unaired scenes. There is also an added bonus disc featuring episodes 1-5 of The Vampire Diaries to tempt you into a new series which was a surprising but welcome addition to this boxset. Overall this season lacks some of the magic of previous OTH outings but it's certainly worth a look just to see how it all ends. 3.5 stars.

This season is perfect. This season (more than 7 and 8) clearly shows us, why One Tree Hill is so great. Because we identify with their feelings. It's amazing how my feeling can change from one minute to another, when I'm watching this series. THIS is the perfect final to the season! If you're in doubt whether to buy this season or not, because the previous ones (especially 7 or 8) wasn't you're cup of tea, then buy this! Old characters are reery returning for an episode or more and it's all produced very well. This season has a red line through the whole episode and it's defenitly woth every pound!

Plus this is great value for money! I actullay thought 18 pounds was cheap for this season, but then I find the first 5 episodes of Vampire Dairies enclosed! Wauw, Amazon for the win!

**SPOILERS AHEAD**
The final season of my favourite tv series didnt disappoint. The season was filled with moments that made me remember why there is only One Tree Hill and i will always hold it close to my heart. The season was one of the best of the series and the series finale (excluding the chris and chase moments!) was perfect, absolute perfection and classic One Tree Hill. I want to be truthful so I will say what wasn't so good about the season but also what was.
What i didnt like about the season was:
* Making Chris Keller a series regular. Chris is a good character and Tyler Hilton done an excellent job portraying him but his character isn't right for a full time role.
* While I was extremely happy with Chad Michael Murrays return I feel like they could of done better with Lucas's return to Tree Hill, which we have been waiting for since he left!
Now for the bad things about the dvd:
* Adding a promotional dvd for the Vampire Diaries and taking a whole half of the inside dvd sleeve wasn't very good as this dvd is celebrating the final season of One Tree Hill and should of stayed like that!
* They changed the dvd menu and it doesn't look as good as the previous eight
What was the standout moments of the season:
* Brooke trashing the Tree Hill Cafe
* Lucas returning (I know I complained about it but it was still a great moment)
* Haley going to the morgue
* Dan getting shot
* Keiths return
* The cast singing 'I Don't Want to be'
* The final montage!

I hope this helps anyone :)! #GoodnightOneTreeHill
