One of the major tasks new writers face is that of learning to edit their work, to cut out the superfluous and the confusing, tightening the nuts and honing the work. Excellent little book, beautifully illustrated and organised, this will help you learn the craft of editing, which will improve your writing beyond recognition.

I attended a writing course run by the author. I'm usually unimpressed by training courses but this one was so good I was motivated to seek out her book (which, to her credit, she didn't even plug on the course - I had to ask if she'd published anything). Anyway, the book is excellent - accessible and practical - I work in corporate communications and it's always on my desk.
