If you're a fan of Billy Mackenzie, you may want to pick up this album, since it's virtually littered with his vocals and backing vocals. I don't have to tell you that the production rivals anything Trevor Horn or The Art Of Noise did at the time, the attention to detail is mind-boggling.

As previous reviewers have already pointed out, if you have the original CD version of this album, you may want to hold on to it and not make the mistake of buying this 2005 edition (the Mackenzie sung "Snowball" is available on "The Glamour Chase"). Everything sounds way too compressed and the volume is cranked up to the max, which results in some distorted passages. It beggars belief that Boris Blank should have been responsible for this mess.

All the remastered series is worth listening to, if you have no Yello albums. You should start now. I had a few singles from years ago but no albums saw this and ordered all six discs; the fist two albums are more experimental. But the other four are great, the extra tracks makes it a must buy. Shame Amazon didn’t have access to the box set.
Some classic tracks and some that still sound good today.
If you had thought about it just do it.
Well done boys for creating some of the best music your ears can enjoy !!!

I got this put on my new Rega P5 and it was fantastic for the first few minutes. Just before the end of track one one side one I heard a very unacceptable clicking noise. On careful examination of the record I noticed a minute lump of vinyl or something. I tried cleaning the record with a record cleaning brush but it wouldn't budge. Very poor quality control. This is not acceptable on a brand new record costing over twenty pounds. Have returned it for a refund. I must say this is not the sellers fault but a issue by the manufacture. Saying that I still love this excellent duo and shall buy the record again at some point.

This is Yello doing what they do best. Deep vocals, electronic bip and bops and a depth that smacks you in the face. From the chill of "L'Hotel" to the electronic thrash guitars of "Si Senor The Hairy Grill", you'll love it. If you like "Oh yeah" and "The Race" (not on this album) then you'll like "one Second" a lot. Shirley Bassey even puts in a appearance on this album. Simply divine!

Yello are quite an aquired taste. When I first heard their track " Oh Yeah " I thought OH YEAH. They are too underated unfortunately. Find a friend who's got a Yello cd & borrow it, you may like it. As for me, Yello are excellent

This album has one of their best tracks, The Rhythm Divine, with Tiger bay's finest, Shirley Bassey on vocals. This is a perfect 80's combo, right up there with Liza Minnelli and the Pet Shop Boys(looshing my mind),Barbra Streisand and the Bee Gees (woman in love)and The Art Of Noise featuring Thomas woodward jones (Kiss).

And in case you were wondering, No, i am not.

The album is worth a purchase for this song alone, although other tracks are bob on.
