To Be Watched 'All Day And All Of The Night'', 23 Sep 2007
This is about the best you will ever see the Kinks perform (live) so far on DVD.
I will be glad to see some of their other live performances, put out onto disc, but will have to wait and see.
This concert is very lively, and the sound quality in my opinion is very good.
Ray Davies certainly looks super fit, as he bops about the stage, and brother Dave's guitar work is brilliant.
If you like the Kinks, then you should get a copy of this (fantastic)

Stop all of your sobbing.....you really got me!!!, 4 April 2005
Hmmmmm???? I sometimes wonder what rewievs are all about.??? Can we ask for a 10 years old concert to be in super surround sound???
NOPE...things are ...as they where!!!....and that is what we get when we want to go back to the our roots and make a total recall.
This concert is absoooooooooolutely great. The sound is just like The Kinks were....rough og though!!!!(read my lips)...and with Mr. Davies just like the showman he were! You really got me...all of the night...but in mono....isn`t that all right???
Straight to the bone...rock that rocks!!!
The picture is ok...and the only reason I don`t rate it five stars is because I miss some of their greatest songs...but still!!!!.....there are really many goodies on this dvd. "You really got me - All day and all of the night - Lola - Where have all the good times gone"
So if you want "All the good times" back....just as they were...."you really got it" ....if you buy this one.

Nice picture - poor sound, 22 Mar 2005
So this is originally a mono-sound video recording, which has been made to a 5.1 DD. Obviously it doesn't make the sound great at all. Buy the CD instead, it has very good sound quality (overdubbed) and also better performaces by the band. Actually this is not a region 1 disc, it plays OK on any player, but NTSC it is.
