About the Author

Eiichiro Oda debuted in WEEKLY SHONEN JUMP in 1997 as a comic creator and artist with ONE PIECE. One of the most popular comic artists in Japan today, Oda started out by winning the Hop Step Award (a monthly award given by Jump for amateur artists) as well as the esteemed Tezuka Award. His art style is reminiscent of Akira Toriyama, Sergio Aragones, and the movie Yellow Submarine.

5.0 out of 5 stars Review 5 Mar 2014

I choose this rating because I just love the series. I think there could have been more Zolo and Sanji fights but other than that it was great.

5.0 out of 5 stars A Must Buy 18 April 2014

If this is your first time hearing of One Piece stop right now and get volume 1. Eiichiro Oda does a masterful job telling this story and it is imperative that nothing be skipped as he always ties everything together. If you're already a fan I don't have to tell you this you know how good this story is and this is an awesome chapter. Doflamingo has been my favorite non-strawhat character since his debut and I love that we're finally having an arc centered around him.

5.0 out of 5 stars Conclusion of P.H and Onwards 16 Mar 2014
By Skarymisfit - Published on
Overall, the arc wrapped up very nicely. With a satisfying conclusion to Punk Hazard, threads are hidden in the background that lay in wait for the future to come. Transitioning from one arc to the next, I thought it was very solid though some characters could have used more screen time.

For those who like to keep up with the manga and supporting Oda, this is where you should make your move. They came on time and in very good condition.
